CMA/LPN Burnsville and Shakopee

Ear, Nose & Throat Specialty Care of MN is a privately owned practice with 8 clinics in the metro area. We are seeking a CMA/LPN to work at our Burnsville, Edina and Shakopee locations.

The CMA/LPN will provide superior service and is responsible for effectively communicating with patients. This position includes serving as a resource for patients and staff providing excellent customer service in a professional manner. This position requires critical thinking skills, problem solving skills and a strong work ethic. Tasks include but are not limited to, scheduling appointments, patient phone calls, referrals, data collection rooming patients and assisting in clinic.

Our perfect candidate will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, superior customer service, be highly motivated and have a positive attitude and be a team player. Candidate must also be reliable, able to multi-task, have strong computer skills and work independently in a fast paced environment. This position has multiple duties and responsibilities and is perfect for someone who has great organizational skills, pays attention to detail, and enjoys a busy atmosphere.

Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: 8:30AM to 5:00PM

Essential Functions :

• Rooming patients
• Document health information
• Assisting providers with procedures
• Ordering imaging and lab testing
• Assisting with referrals
• Maintaining exam rooms and clinical areas

Qualifications and Abilities:

• 2 years medical clinic experience preferred
• EMR experience preferred
• Ability to meet the needs of a fast-paced clinic
• Commitment to excellence and high standards
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Self-motivated and extremely reliable
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
