Job Description

The Extraction Technician is responsible for navigating day to day laboratory operations. This includes working with the Head Extractor to prepare raw materials, perform the extraction process, clean up equipment and conduct general lab duties. This position will work closely with the Head Extractor and team to ensure equipment is maintained regularly and raw materials meet the necessary specifications.

Helping with packaging as needed.

We are a fast-growing concentrate company looking to hire an experienced, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable extraction technician to start immediately.

Job Requirements:

-Operating and maintaining closed loop BHO/PHO extraction machines

-Adhere to and make improvement suggestions to company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

-Ability to be a team player and multi-task- Ability to workdays or evenings and possibly weekends- Cleanliness must come naturally, maintaining 5S daily cleaning protocols- Maintaining the highest standards of safety- Following tight schedules with precision, and accuracy while under pressure- Initial Quality Control checkpoint -- Ability to discern high quality from low quality product- Packaging help, misc. jobs at any time

Required Skills and Experience:

- MED Badge required- Must have 1-2 years’ experience as an Extraction lab Technician with BHO/PHO Closed-Loop Extraction Systems, use of Precision equipment preferred

- Experience in working closely others and capable to work independently- Self-driven with a professional demeanor- The ability to work quickly, yet meticulously and accurately- Good with numbers/data, must keep extremely detailed logs- Must be able to multi-task, attention to detail is critical- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines for workplace safety and hazardous chemicals.

-Capable of performing administrative tasks, such as documenting machine maintenance.

Experience on our specific equipment is a Major Plus. Precision PX1, X10

Salary is dependent on experience. Negotiable

Job Type: Contract /1099 / up to 40 hours a week

Salary: $22.00 to $25.00 an hour (to start)

Working Environment

• Aptitude to push, pull, or lift heavy weights (50lbs or more), including sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the workday

MED Occupational (Required)

Schedule:

• Sunday, Monday, Tuesday nights available. As well as Thursday, Friday and Saturday early am shifts available. Negotiable.
