Title: Business Analyst
Location: Remote in US
Duration: 6 months and will extend based on the performance
Rate: $90~$100/hr
Experience: 2 yrs experience in a data analytics role.
3-5 yrs experience in manufacturing or engineering domain.

Description:
This is a business analysis position in the Resource Industries Digital Group and is responsible for working with business units to understand business process, define data points, and translate development requirements to a development team. The person will also be responsible for leading the validation of data sets, along with documenting analytic models and processes. The person will have work directed by the Team Lead and should be able to make decision on routine, low to medium risk issues that may affect the project team or internal customers, demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, have strong initiative and teamwork skills, and have a knowledge of basic database architecture.

Responsibilities:
  • Support business unit partners to define, plan, execute and automate analytics initiatives
  • Validate and document analytics models and processes and assist with their deployment
  • Collaborate with other analytics capability groups (Data Architecture, Visualization) to deliver high quality solutions to business partners.

Skills:
  • Individual should be self-motivated to gather background information, manage and complete challenging tasks on time.
  • Experience/exposure to database software’s such as Oracle, SQL, Microsoft Access etc.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to present to high level leadership on project status
  • High level knowledge of Tableau, BObj, Power BI, and other analytic tools
  • High level knowledge of SAP data systems, HANA, HANA Live Sidecar, and Teamcenter
