As a Bus and Tram Driver at the Thrill Capital of New England...
You'll contribute to our mission by:
- Supporting the Six Flags Mantra - Friendly, Clean, Fast, and Safe Service
- Operating buses and trams in a safe and efficient manner
- Monitoring and redirecting bus and trams operations as required
- Reporting maintenance and safety issues to your Lead or Supervisor
- Answering guests questions and concerns
- Identifying and reacting to detailed areas both behind the scenes and in guests' view in order to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Announcing safety rules and spiels over a microphone
You'll do it with your:
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Class A CDL with passenger and air break endorsements recommended but not required
- Ability to sit for up to 6 hours a day
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Friendly, outgoing personality and ability to address guest concerns
- Ability to read, speak, write, and understand the English language
You'll know you're ready if you are:
- Willing to work in a high performance team environment
- Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc.
- 18 years old or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving history
- Able to successfully complete pre-employment background
