Gold Rush Jewelers has an opening for a jeweler in one of our stores. Below is what we are looking for in a jeweler:

Must have 3-5 years of Bench Jeweler experience with a focus on repair work, please do not apply if you do not have any prior work experience doing jewelry work.

• Courteous and professional individual with excellent communication skills
• If applying for Watch maker, must be able to work on quartz watches
• Ability to multi-task with extraordinary attention to detail
• Energetic and confident with the ability to hustle under time constraints
• Passion for achieving growth and success
• Ability to work under pressure and willing to hear constructive feedback
• Punctual and excellent time management skills
• Demonstrated professional maturity (discretion, flexibility, and self-starter who can work within a team or solo)
• Resourceful and adept at problem solving

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Jewelry Repair

- sizing rings

- chain repairs

- earring and pendant repair

- some jewelry restoration

• Finishing of castings
• Casting silver, gold and platinum
• Replacing watch batteries
• Sizing watch band links
• Light fabrication duties
• Possible light stone setting, dependent on skills
• General shop cleaning and maintenance

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
