The Sea Pines Resort is Hilton Head’s premier Beach and Golf Resort located along 5000 oceanfront acres for more than 50 Years. Since 2009 The Sea Pines Resort is the only resort to receive the Forbes Four Star Award on Hilton Head Island. We are currently recruiting energetic team members for our exquisite Restaurants located throughout the Resort.

Job Responsibilities

  • Follow safety procedures and policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Make and serve drinks to guests and cocktail servers for heavy volume of customers.
  • Follow Sea Pines beverage standards and procedures, using Sea Pines beverage manual and recipe book as references.
  • Make sure all drinks are entered into the Point of Sale system correctly.
  • Follow cash handling responsibilities as dictated by Sea Pines policy.
  • Inform guests of all beverage, food, and bar promotions.
  • Clean bar of empty glasses and dishes.
  • Assist the host/hostess with prompt and courteous greeting and seating of guest.
  • Accurately practices service standards on a daily basis.
  • Can recite all menu items and ingredients of each item.
  • Can recite all Premium/Super Premium items – beer, wines, liquors and knows prices – can open bottle of wine.
  • Ensure the check is presented in a timely fashion.
  • Can answer basic questions, give directions and information about resort and local areas.
  • Performs side work accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure timely beverage refills.
  • Uses daily opportunity to up sell when taking orders i.e. appetizers, desserts and beverages.
  • Can answer all daily specials questions.
  • Have full knowledge of and fully comply with the state liquor laws.
  • Follow proper procedures for ringing guest checks and cash collecting procedures.
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
