Job Title: Receptionist

Department: Retail - Deposits
Reports To: Retail Banking Officer

Job Summary

  • Greets and assists visitors. Answers telephones and provides appropriate information. Performs clerical tasks, assists on the teller line as assigned (ex. folding bank statements). Assists in the organization and administration of company objectives and policies.

Job Accountabilities

  • Greets visitors and ascertains name and other pertinent information.
  • Notifies appropriate employee of visitor's arrival.
  • Answers telephone(s).
  • Responds to questions about department operations, as appropriate. Assists on the teller line (ex. folding bank statements).
  • May discern appropriate information through computer or hard copy files, company or department publications and guidelines and/or personal knowledge. Coordinates, copy and distributes Board Packets, monthly reports, etc.
  • Routes calls for employees, as appropriate.
  • Accurately takes and delivers messages. Manages the On-Hold telephone system.
  • Accepts and signs for packages addressed to department.
  • Delivers package(s) to addressee or notifies addressee of package arrival.
  • Performs a variety of routine clerical tasks (may include processing of incoming and outgoing mail, sending and delivering FAX messages, arranging for and maintaining logs for package pickup and delivery, photocopying and collating, etc.), as time permits.
  • Assures that reception area is clean and orderly.
  • Handles forced place insurance
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
  • Work every 3rd Saturday from 8:15 am - 12:15 pm

Job Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent substitute
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience required, with 2-3 years preferred

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
