Northrop Grumman is seeking DevOps Engineers for an internship opportunity. This position will be located at our Mission Systems Sector in San Antonio, TX.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Engineering & Sciences organization.

Basic Qualifications

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

• Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2023.

• Be majoring in or having majored in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree

• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)

• Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2023.

• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

• Experience developing software or automation within a product release pipeline

• Proficiency and hands on experience with technologies such as Git, Ansible, Docker, Terraform

Preferred Qualifications:

• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher

• Active DoD security clearance

• Familiarity with commercial cloud environments such as AWS or Azur

• Experience operating and maintaining a CI/CD pipeline

• Active information assurance certification such as CompTIA Security+

Intern Pay Range:

Bachelor’s: $20.75 to $25.75 per hour

Master’s: $30.50 to $32.25 per hour

At Northrop Grumman, our internship pay rates are standardized and take into account three main factors: the anticipated graduation date of the individual, the cost of labor of the geographic location, and whether the internship is considered technical or administrative.
